Anjo Haase will exhibit current cartoons in Erlangen’s smallest bar. The collage style is typical for him. Either oil platforms are burning on paintings by Caspar David Friedrich or a zombie is looking for electronic brains in a computer store. The humor is dry and cryptic – the backgrounds are most often not by the artist. Instead, they are reprocessed photos or reproductions of Old Master paintings. Small bar, small pictures, but there is still room for a corny joke between poetry and punchline ...
