Winsor McCay exhibition in Hannover

Big events cast their shadows: The exhibition “Winsor McCay (1869–1934): Comics, films, dreams“ will open on Sunday, 11 March 2012 in the "Deutsches Museum für Karikatur und Zeichenkunst (Wilhelm Busch-Museum)" in Hannover. After the "Bilderbuchmuseum Burg Wissem" in Troisdorf this is the second station of the retrospective, which is curated by Alexander Braun and coproduced by the Erlangen International Comic Salon. After Hannover the influential work of the American comic and animation pioneer will be presented from 7 to 10 June 2012 at the 15th Erlangen International Comic Salon.
